5 Hectares of Birds Eyes Chillies

What are birds eye chillies:

Bird’s eye chilies are small but incredibly potent chili peppers, known for their fiery heat and distinct flavor. Native to Southeast Asia and parts of Africa, these peppers are commonly used in spicy dishes, sauces, and condiments. They measure between 50,000 to 100,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), making them much hotter than jalapeños.

The chilies are typically red or green when ripe and have a sharp, slightly fruity taste. Beyond heat, they add depth to dishes, enhancing flavors in curries, stir-fries, and sambals. Bird’s eye chilies also boast health benefits, containing capsaicin, which has anti-inflammatory and metabolism-boosting properties.

They’re easy to grow in warm climates, thriving in well-drained soil and full sunlight — perfect for a passionate farmer like yourself! Let me know if you’d like growing tips or recipe ideas. ????️
