About the Trust

The KwaCele-Nhlangwini Group, owned by the KwaCele-Nhlangwini Communal Property Trust, manages its land through two farming companies: KwaCele Farming (Pty) Ltd, specialising in sugarcane and farm management, and DGK Trio Holding (Pty) Ltd, which produces sugarcane, bananas and macadamias.

The group’s stated mission is to enhance productivity, sustainability and profitability by providing high-quality farm products, maintaining production, delivering reliably and generating value for the Trust’s beneficiaries.

The published About page describes 709 beneficiaries and identifies Mr Samuel Mdluli, Mrs Khethiwe Ngema and Mr TC Gumede as directors. Mrs Ngema, as CEO, oversees daily operations and management.
